What is Adoration?

In Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, we have the opportunity to pray before the very presence of our Lord Jesus in the ordinary form of bread that has been transformed to be for us the very body of Jesus. It is a very beautiful and ancient way of praying.

St Therese Chapel

Adoration is available every day at St Paul’s. Although the Church is closed except during the celebration of Mass and the times listed below, we have a Blessed Sacrament Chapel – the Chapel of St Therese – that is located at the front of the Parish Centre. It is open from Tuesday – Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm.

Adoration times

Adoration should always flow out of or into the celebration of the Eucharist – because it is the celebration of the Eucharist that is the source and summit of our lives as Christ followers. Adoration is offered at different times to give as many people as possible the chance to have some time of prayer during their day – at least once a week.
